This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

On October 24, 1960, The LaSallian released its first issue as De La Salle Colleges (DLSC) official student publication.
47 years with reason and conviction. Bastion of issue-oriented critical thiking.
The LaSallian has a rich history behind it that few dare to even ponder altering time-honored traditions, much more its format. Unknown to our readers, even the slightest change in newsprint will elicit rigid reactions from The LaSallians alumnus. But in our 47th year, we ventured into our biggest and perhaps boldest experiment: a magazine. Citing decreasing readability and admitting our fear of irrelevance in the Lasallian community, it was a risk we were willing to take. The 47 years of history to back us up all pointed toward an ever-evolving publication that strived for nothing less than journalistic excellence. No, we are not confusednor are we trying to confuse you. This powdery copy in your hand is no temporary substitute to the glossy pages of the magazine that we released in the last three months of the previous school year. The rationale behind the magazine being a balance between form and function, given our presentation of news from just telling it as it is but digging deeper, giving it further meaning; a features orientation. Our experimental issues were a way of gathering information on how, you, our readers would receive such a change in format. Out of 174 respondents, 103 preferred the magazine, 28 preferred the broadsheet, four were not particular about either, two were undecided and 37 did not indicate any preference. As any statistician would attest, 174 is not an adequate sample size to represent a population of over 10, 000. Nonetheless, it showed us that so far, our readers were in favor of our shift in format. From the survey forms that we gathered, those in favor of the magazine gave varied reasons from Easier to read to Cool! Those in favor of the broadsheet said that it was more educational than entertaining. But this was not enough to initiate a permanent or at least a long-term change in the publications format. All the stakeholders of our publication had to be considered. Our staffthe men and women behind each issueare a large part of this major decision. As per our by-laws, we have to have at least two-thirds of our staff be in favor of the proposed change in order for it to be accepted. Out of the 43 of the 55 members of our staff that voted, 26 were in favor of the magazine, 17 for the broadsheet, while 12 abstained. Needless to say, it showed that we were not ready for this change. So we bring you the product of months of deliberations of our past, present and future as a publication. We settled on the format that The LaSallian began with, the format that won us the Associate Collegiate Press Newspaper of the Year in 2003. We are not closing our doors on what we can call a successful experiment in our magazine. But this year, we look to redefine the broadsheet in our attempt to give our readers what they deserve, and promise to continue to find ways to serve our purpose better. We also look to revamp our website to bring news and information to more Lasallians. And with this we renew our commitment to seeking the truth and working for change as leaders and ambassadors of critical thinkingno matter what our format. We believe that more than appearances, it is what the pages contain that speak more of what The LaSallian truly is. In transcending print or digital presentations, it is in influencing decisions, shaping perspectives, and affecting change that we are relevant.
